First established in 1929 by Harold T. Storey as an antiquarian bookshop, the business was sold by his son Norman (a former Lancaster air-gunner) to Ted Kingswood in 1984.
Now owned by Tim Kingswood, Storey's specialises in antiquarian engraved prints and maps.

| We also stock children's and A large stock of eighteenth and nineteenth century engravings is divided across two floors. Subjects include British and foreign topography with works by David Roberts and Piranesi. A strong selection of military and naval prints particularly relating to Lord Nelson and Napoleon Buonaparte; Costume and fashion; Sports and pastimes; Natural history, including engravings by Curtis and Paxton.
